The very special Diploid AA Tropical Musa Banana, TMB2x 9128-3
Tjau Lagada & Pisang Lilin were very proud. October 22, 1989 was another special day for Pisang Lilin.

Both TMB2x 5105-1 and TMB2x 9128-3 are now routinely used as progenitors in crossing programs to generate superior secondary triploid or diploid stocks.
TMP = Tropical Musa Plantain. BYOB = Breed your own bananas.
