Re: In Memoriam: Tog Tan

I have an email folder named tog tan, and I have kept all of our conversations. I like to read them from time to time. I was out of town when he passed away and didn't find out what had happened for a week after I got back because it took that long to get caught up. I miss my friend even though we never met and were just getting to understand each other, Tog was a complex person.

Too many candles have to be lit in this family. Still thinking of you, my friend.

Just yesterday I listened to Dr Oz say the 3 days that most heart attacks happen is Dec 25 & 26th and Jan 1st. Y'all take care!!!

Miss ya Patty and Tog

Tog was incredibly knowledgeable about bananas. I was envious that he was able to walk outside of his home and right into the jungle full of different banana varieties. He is missed and with him went vast amounts of knowledge.

So many times, we see people who have so much to contribute, leave too early. Things are left unfinished, and we can only guess how they would want to be remembered.

I am making my own headstone to make sure they get it right. I know I am eccentric, but is that odd, even for me?

He died ages ago…hence the title of the thread.

Yes, and he deserves to be remembered for all times. Never forget

I think about Tog pretty regularly and wish I had more time to enjoy our friendship. I also had hoped to go to the BK flower show with him sometime but have several other things I'd like to talk to him about.
