Tea for Musa?
 

Hi all,

I've noticed my Musa is a thirty girl and needs spritzing 2-3 times a day (dechlorinated water of course) is there a tea or organic mixture i can make up to boost my plant, I've noticed she absorbers a lot of moisture through her leaves (I could be wrong, perhaps just drips down into the trunk?).

Does anyone have any tried and tested tips for leaf care, such as cleaning advice and or solutions to mix up for the plant to absorb via leaf/trunk?

There are some great plant elixirs and tea recipes on Youtube which you can spray or water directly into your pot or plant.
The forum has some great searchable threads also.
All will work well with Biobizz and your self waterer......just use as directed.
Indoor growers tend to "fertilize real good" for better health but usually it is just the opposite.
But with a self waterer not much else is needed.

Pick and choose the best fit for your musa and any tropicals you have.

All store bought water-soluble fertilizers can be used as foliar spray when used as directed.
I prefer to use about 70% less fertilizer than directed for my indoor terrariums and tropicals this way growth is controlled.
Biobizz makes some great products according to their reviews and webpage.

Many indoor plants will collect dust and get water spots.
If the plant is somewhat small you may put it in the shower to clean the leaves.
If the plant is outdoors they will tend to self clean.

An internet search on humidity trays can be helpful also.
Humidity trays are great for bonsai and tropical plants. You might get a few good takeaways.
I use them for bonsai and ferns.

In a few months you will be planting outdoors and your plant will sort itself out in its new home in no time.
