when does Achims replenish stock
 

Does anyone know when Achims,restocks up again wanted to order some nanas from him,as its nearly end of May, some of his variates are still out of stock.

From what I understand,he has some motherplants of his own and he sells their pups. So each time a variety has a pup of suitable size for separation,he lists the variety as available.

Thanks for the info kostas.I sent him a email last week asking when is he going to top up,got no reply,i know he doesn't reply quickly as he probably will be busy, but replying with in a few days would be nice.

I still dont understand if you are running bussines that U can be to busy to reply to mails? Do they hand writte them?

Again from what I understand,he finds it difficult communicating through emails in English. He probably doesn't know them too well and it probably takes him time to understand and write back. In a complex email asking about various things,I would include a translation to German as well to speed things up maybe.

Hi Kostas,
Achims is not a very helpful man, he had money budgeting problems and had been abused the other nurserymen and his employees by called them bad names.
He do not export seeds and plants outside Europe.
He often had very bad attitudes toward overseas people.
Few months ago I emailed him, to ask for prices of certicates and exporting of 4 musa "Milky", but he were not helpful and did not replied to my email.
He will not reply to your email., I'm very sorry.

You could try rarepalmseeds.com - palm seeds, cycad seeds, banana seeds or other websites and raise the plants from seeds instead.

I had no bad experiences with Achim and according to me he has no employees. I talked to the moderator on his bananaforum a few days
ago(he is also a member on here) and he said Achim is still selling plants.

Hi Ron,
Few months ago I emailed Achim who is running "Achim's banana" shop in Austral and I asked him about export 4 musa "Milky Way" to my place in New Zealand, but he said he do not export plants outside Europe in Germany language and I got upsetted, as he is only man who had musa "Milky Way" which are most difficult plants to find and get.
I emailed him & talked to Achim about musa "Milky Way" were very very difficult to find and to get hold of as I been waited for 7 past years for my chance to get musa "Milky Way" and told him to send me the prices of exporting, certificates, for exporting 4 musa "Milky Way", but Achim did not replied to my emails.
A Germany nurseyman told me Achim had acussed him by called him the bad names.
A lady told me about Achim's problem with money and that his busness do not last long and that she had a rough time with Achim.

I don't think good idea to buy plants from Achim as plants will grow into diffenent plants...say explame you want musa "Milky Way" and planted your plants, but 2 years from now, you will be disappointed when your plants turn to be musa ornata, with pink flowers.
I had my musa siamensis that turned to been musa ornata when it had pink flower instead of yellow flower.
I don't think Achim put name labels on plants.
I do not want you to be disappointed.

Can you tell me..what sort of plants you want to buy ???
I will help you find the plants you wants.

Clinton, i really don't understand why you want to buy Musa "Milky Way"
from him whilst on the other hand you say his plants are wrongly labeled?
He doesn't ship outside the European Union just as US nurseries don't
ship to Europe, it is too much paperwork and it makes the plants too expensive. Most of the edible Bananas are regularly for sale in Europe,
you just have to have some patience.
I hope the German members on here turn op so that they can tell their
experiences with Achim.

Hi,

you never had contact to Achim, so it is interesting that you know such things.
It is not o.k. to argue with things that you hear from other people.
I think some people have nothing others to do than creating rumour.
By the way, I know that some nurserymen copied his shop and used his Internetname with little changes.

I myself tried to get a Musa from the states, but I found no nursery that sends their plants to europe.
... and answers to my e-mails were very seldom.
Some nurseries have too much trouble to send plants overseas.
Some things you must accept.

last year i ordered musa kru from Achims,i received it with in five working days,it was the first time i ordered from him and the plant i received was in very good condition.I know other people in the UK who have ordered from him with out any problems,or neither have they received different plants to what they have ordered,that includes me as well

For 7 past years, I always wanted musa "Milky Way" which had pure white flowers, and they are not available in New Zealand.
I tried USA nurseries, but they told me they are not willing to export these plants & tissue cultures to New Zealand, so I tried European nurseries, and Achim's banana shop is only shop in Europe to have musa "Miky Way".

Musa "Milky Way" are very rare plants & very difficult to find.

I would like you talk to Achim about prices of exporting the plants to New Zealand and certificate (to show plants are healthy & clean.) please.
I will to save my money once I know the prices of exporting & certificate. I appreciate your help.

I think best is to forget about Achims and put Achims behind us.

I do not have musa ornata cv Milky Way.

I gave up my hope for fresh seeds of musa ornata cv Milky Way.
I been waited for these seeds over 10 past years.

Me too! I was quite surprised... Its a shame, I liked the nursery. I have only ordered once from him, but the service was excellent.

Achim is out of business. I e-mailed with him some time ago and he told me about it. :/ And btw he set his web-shop offline.
