I'm expecting a fresh wave of Polish Folk Mass migration to my country's northern part - so that they can enjoy pleasant skiing at even more pleasant temps: -10 to -20°C. Feels like the subtropics for you up behind those mountains, doesn't it, Sew?

Obviously, you haven't been to the Baltic sea. I would recommend you a 2 day tour. That should be more than enough for you to know how cold it can get up there.

I would not expect a deluge, it is to cold for skiing, maybe some hot heads.

Paradoxically north, coastal Poland has the mildest Winters. Wolin and Uznam Islands or Hel Peninsula haven't had much below zero so far. so Jack I would strongly recommend you trip to Baltic, if we really have this -30 C maybe you could go even to Sweden by foot (or sledge)

It's ideal temp for skiing.
I meant Baltic compared to the Mediterranean this time of year.

Take care up there you guys - Ante, Jack and Sew - the weather sounds extremely nasty and is now coming over to England. I won't tell you what the cold temps are here in the DR - everyone is complaining - what do they know!!! OK - I will tell! The coldest we have had just before dawn was 61f/16c - had to get the duvet out!!

-21C I had lat night now isn't much better. Less (or more) than -30C is expected in the end of this week.
I think I should chane my interests, from exotic to tundra gardens

16 C maybe we will have in the middle of April

Yeah this weather we cold easily live without. I told my uncle that we haven't had any cold weather yet which was true, only some occasional night frost. But then all this began so I think I might have jinxed it. Might get as low as -15C this week and at the same time there's a sikki outside. Hope it survives.
Next time I'll just be quiet
