Oh I feel sorry for you. No chance of saving them with those winds. I watched a tornado in Montana yesterday and man, that was some show.
Don't worry, Soapy, the summer temps are already in Croatia, so your naners will regrow to full capacity in one month.

Here in Rome is nearly too hot for me.....32/35 celsius with 65% of hydration, raising to 90% at night.... The minimum here is 22 celsius and I'm melting.......
Good weather for the 'nanas but I think I'll spend the weekend in water like an Hyppo.... fortunately for me, the sea is few meters away from my home...

Unfortunately. No salinity here, so they are in every small lake and since this is a fertile delta lowland, they are everywhere. Not for long though, they've been insekticized!

Yes it is! Actually my thermometer shows 13,9C. Nights are rather cool, we have a big difference between day an night temperature.

I has just looked for your temperature (in the same time) and thought: good havens if I had 28C I couldn't sleep for whole night.

We have them very bad here in Florida, USA.
I use something called the "Mosquito Magnet" to eradicate them from the area around my home. It really helps to reduce getting as many bites.
It traps them in a container where they dry out and die. I check how many mosquitoes that I caught with it several times per day.
