What beautiful gardens! I've grown a lot of the same plants myself here with varying success. Funny , I dont speak a word(only bad ones and ordering food and drink anyway) of French but knew right away the latin names of those plants I suspected..... very cool. Thanks.

nice plants in your garden in france, i have saw the blooming musa basjoo with small fruits. Are the seeds germinated, or you don`t tested it?? What other kinds of musas do you cultivar outside with success? We here in germany near the rhin cultivar basojoo and sikkimensis with protection in 8 of 10 winters with success, the thalia dealabata i have seen in the viden too (i have get one from the jardin botanique in strasbourg (alsace). There are mostly historic, old-fashionable species or modern but 'old style' varieties. |
