Default Interesting article for croatian banana lovers..

Read this: Prima coltivazione di banane in... Croazia!

It says that in croatia there's a company who's growing with success bananas using geothermal energy.......

The article says also that in a next future the company will start to cultivate ananas and other tropical plants...

definitely that is the place for our croatian's friends to ask for a 'nana for their gardens....

Hey Dalmatiansoap, is Dobrovnik anywhere near the place you live ?
It wuold be intersting, a first hand reportage about that company....

Thanks on the tip Rick but as I assumed that isnt even in Croatia . Dobrovnik is in Slovenia and I dont belive that is possiblle to grow anything tropical without serious protection there couse it is zone 8 in the best option.
Just marketing , thanks anyway

Digging a Geo/Thermo well isn't cheap.. If the sun is out better off using Dave's technique (Sun Power). :^)
