Default What fabric is recommended for plant protection?

Several of my fruit trees have a custom built wooden frame around each of them. I intend to hang some type of fabric on the frame to provide protection against extreme low temp and extreme high temp. What material will work for this purpose? Thanks,

I want a green house, but our neighborhood will not let anyone have one. So sad.

Blame the neighborhood covenence (is that how its spelled?). Plus we live in a hurricane evacuation zone and the building codes are strict.

Landscape cloth works pretty well for me. It is a spun polyester similar to frost blankets, but a little thicker and more durable.
