![]() One thing I have learned about watering on sand... A little every day is much better than a big water once a week. It seems a big water once, most just runs through, but a little every day and the sand seems to hold it much better... Dry sand seems to repel water at first, so it does just run through. Keep it moist and it holds a lot more.
BTW.. If your Ph is high, you don't want lime. You might not even need it when the Ph is low... http://gardenrant.com/?guest_post=pl...ased-on-the-ph

What it seems I actually have: Brazilian, Cavendish, Namwah, Dwarf Red, Gros Michel, Pisang Ceylon, Veinte Cohol and SH 3640, and American Goldfinger. FHIA 1, Paggi and FHIA 17... Always room for one more. Last edited by sputinc7 : 11-28-2017 at 01:30 PM. |
