Misting for cuttings

Hello,

I'm attempting to make a mister from parts bought at a big box store. It's the DIG brand. I have an inline timer to mist the cuttings a couple of times a day in the greenhouse. If you have any input or advice I would greatly appreciate it. :2738:

Here's a few photos of what I got going so far. As you can see it does need some more work. I just tied it to the cutting/ seed starting bench with wires. The same goes with the top of the greenhouse. Thanks for looking!:0519:

Oh, this is the el cheapo mister that came with the greenhouse that I decided not to use.

Hi Dean!

Looks like you have already gotten it functional and up and running. How is it working so far?

I am not sure if I had my mister hooked up when you were here or not. I used one of those that is flexible like a garden hose and already had the mister plugs installed (I think it is sold at Home Depot). Then I put a timer on the faucet. I hung it up through the trees, and since it is flexible I can change up the shape as I moved the plants around and also used it for barbecues to cool us off in the patio area. It worked well for me. :)

Hey Jananas,

Long time no speak.

I think I worked out a few bugs. At first the water was going everywhere. Even getting my little tool storage area all wet so I tweaked it a bit. I tied it up a little more added a loop to the top to direct the flow of water, etc. Just need to make a few more modifications.

I had bought this stuff from Home Depot too.

Okay I've since updated it a bit. Added some tie downs, lengthen it, and redirect some of the misters. It's still leaking a little bit at the hose bib. I guess I need to replace the washer. It's always something.
