Who has seen any signs of Spring?

I have bulbs poking a nose through the soil, what have you seen in your garden Spring like?

Don't uncover anything yet because we have some very bad weather still to come. All we should be seeing are bulbs.

wow... what do you recommend doing? i am tempted to pinch them off, but don't want to cause any harm. my blueberries are in full bloom too, but i think that's normal (?)

to be honest my friend, I am going to just ride with it.I am covering my star fruit tree with xmas lights as always as well as the dragon fruit.
But other than that I am going to leave the fruit on and just see what happens. The trees are already confused enough, as to what time of year they think it is.....to pick them off will only stimulate them into being more confused and not want to go dormant. I have always read about fruit coming on so early in the winter, but first time for me that it has actually happened. .... good luck with yours...

Guess we both fixing to learn something new..

Peaches are very easy to grow. You should plant on a hillside, if possible, to avoid frost pockets or valleys where late season freezes could damage the blossoms or fruit (see Chilling Hours and Microclimates). Peaches also have a beautiful floral display in addition to producing fruit. Pest and disease management is important for commercial orchards to produce the highest quality fruit for market.

Don't pick off your peach blossoms; it won't do any good because they only bloom once. I had an apricot in MD that often bloomed just before we got a wicked cold windy night; those years I didn't have to clean up the mess of fruit. (Finally found someone who would take all she produced.) If SC and GA peaches are also blooming this will be a bad year...sad.
