Veggie scraps?
Instead of doing a compost can we just put handfuls of fruit/ veggie scraps around my nanners in the soil. Or does it need to be broken down first? Thanks.

Re: Veggie scraps?
i would recommend at least composting a little..just scraps will attract all kind of unwanted pests..even if you dig them in something might end up digging them out..along with what you want to stay in..just a recommendation

Re: Veggie scraps?
Yeah, compost it first. Even if you let it rot in a pile somewhere for a few months, this will be better.
