Default soil testing services

Anyone know of a good, professional soil testing company with reasonable prices? I guess in many states, your local agriculture extension / university will do tests for cheap or free, but I guess that's not the case in California. I bought a cheap do-it-yourself test kit at a nursery, but I've read that they are not very reliable. Thanks.

I use a&l labs for my tissue testing, but they have soil.testing as well. Prices were reasonable.

I analyze soil lab reports for clients. Several of them in the western U.S. are happy with:
A & L WESTERN AGRICULTURAL LABORATORIES
1311 WOODLAND AVE #1
MODESTO, CALIFORNIA 95351
(209) 529-4080
The basic analysis is good. The recommendations at the bottom seem to be inserted automatically and are not always the best advice.

I guess not everyone has access to a mass spectrometer.

I ended up using A & L Western and I found them to be reasonably priced, prompt, and helpful.
