I started the raised beds with some good soil I mixed up including wood humus from rotten stuff around the yard and some char dirt from the old burn pile. I harvested the potatoes yesterday and replanted with pumpkins, but not before adding 5 gallons of biochar, potash, gypsum sand from rotten wallboard I put in the blender, some of that worm dirt from the side of the road, and a little eggshell sand.

So I guess while I was planting the pumpkins yesterday, some change must have fallen out of my pocket, because look what I found this morning when I went to water it! This stuff is amazing!

You know, I posted this on facebook, and no one has YET to pick on the fact that the quarters are not there to reference the size of the plant, but that they are 4" in diameter. :rolleyes:
