Default Mushroom compost compared to other soil amendments

I was visiting a friend today who lives near a mushroom farm who gives away free mushroom compost. I filled about 450 pounds of it into my empty feed bags and now try to find some information on how to use it properly and if it is worth while to get more in the future.

I have unlimited access to meal worm castings, horse and chicken manure and our landfill gives away compost and mulch for free to local residents.
Anyone using it and how would it compare to the other mentioned soil amendments used for veggies, fruits, flowers and in banana mats?

from what i've read mushroom compost is not organic and contains inorganic salts (urea), pesticides and and fungicide. but it produces excellent results (again from what i've read) if you aren't concerned with growing organic versus inorganic.

I wish I had a source for mushroom compost, if I did there would be a big pile of it in the driveway.

Little far to drive, but I will definitely go back to get more, because it is supposed to be organic....
And there is a mushroom farm in South Lebanon, OH. Not sure how far that is from you and if they give away any compost....

42.8 miles to the north, all highway.
I will look them up and possibly be spreading some that mushroom love in my gardens.
I am always looking for organics for the yard.
Thanks for the info.
