This is basically a link to an applet that lets you look up what kind of soil you have in your area. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to use it, but I quickly got the hang of it. First, you have to go to the Area of Interest tab and define an area of interest. Then, you can click on the Soil Map tab to see the kinds of soil in your area and their properties. After that, you can use the Soil Data Explorer to see more detailed descriptions of the properties of your soil. Hope this helps! ![]()
