How much fertilizer to my small sikki

I have not really able to make me wise in how often I should give my musa sikkimensis fertilizer (they are still small, have only 2-3 leaves, grown from seeds). I understand that bananas are really thirsty and hungry, so should I give them fertilizer every time I give them water?

hi i wouldnt over water them or feed them to often at this stage, you may end up rotting the young plants, let them dry out a little, once they get larger then start watering and feeding more,i hope this helps best wishes jazz:waving:

Dont over water them, water them maybe twice a week. and when they are alittle bigger start fertilizing them once a week.

Thanks for the advice. When they are large enough and has been planted in the garden, how often will you then advise me to give them fertilizer?

But I can allready see they are some little thirsty beast, and there are dripping water from there leaves. :)

feed them once a week, what i have done before i plant them in the ground is use chicken manure or mature horse manure and put in the bottom of the planting hole, make sure the roots dont touch the manure as you dont want to burn the roots, water the planting hole and then wait for the water to drain, plant your sikkimensis in the hole and water every 3rd day, when they grow larger then water more frequently, just watch it grow :goteam:,all the best to you,and congratulation to you for germinating the seeds,im still waiting:bed:they dont want to pop for me ha ha:ha::bananas_b
