![]() I talked to their sales rep at a trade show and I hadn't really heard of it before. he gave me several free samples, so I ordered a few of the 8 oz bottles. I've been using the free samples on my houseplants now for about a month and I'll have to say they are looking good. I was skeptical of their product because it says to use only 1 drop per cup of water for houseplants, which sounded ridiculous to me so I've been using 2-3, but it seems to be working. it's 8-16-8. I brought a mini into the kitchen and I'm experimenting with it at the rate of 2-3 drops per cup of water.
They don't say they are organic, but "sustainable" which the sales rep told me that meant that they use some chemicals in making their fertilizer but from sources that are renewable. Wasn't sure what that was about. But anyone else ever try this stuff? I will have to say I give it an A+ for convenience, it's already a liquid and mixes real easy because of that. That's my review of it (so far)...

![]() According to the material data safety sheet (http://www.biconet.com/soil/infosheets/montys8-16-8.pdf) this product is water-soluble fertilizer with the water already added. The cost of a gallon of Monty's 8-16-8 is about $70 depending on where you shop. The net weight of a gallon of the product is about 11.25 lbs. This works out to about $78 per pound of Nitrogen ($70 / (8% * 11.25)).
