Fertilizer quantity.
I have several fruiting bananas, spanning from 1 to 4 feet high, planted in ground.
I'm willing to fertilize them with a 20-5-30 but i can't decide how much i should apply for plant. I have seen tons of recommendation on "how much i should apply for mat" but i don't really have any mat, they are single stem plants, and they will never become true mats because i pot them up at the end of the summer, so i just desucker them regularly the avoid them to become too heavy. They are Dwarf Namwah, Dwarf Orinoco, and some others. Nothing taller than 8' anyway. I'm in a subtropical/cold environment, mi growing season is limited from now to november (can be shorter). Any suggestion? I'm interested in the simple quantity of any nutrient, I can then calculate the others accordingly. |
