I think the thing with bio char is that the soil continues to be fertile after many years of use for agriculture. It's interesting to see results from one year but the real results should be after several years (and without adding fertilizer).

Biochar....good on the grill, and in the ground...

For me it is a great lite soil amendment for containers big and small alike.
And it is inexpensive and easy to make.

Thanks for posting this video, Sunfish. It was interesting to see each yield and how the different treatments affected the plants. I will be watching for further year's results. Really appreciate seeing it.
