I shoot boilermakers with B-1 and marinate my BBQ ribs in it with a dusting of azomite and humid acid

Do you guys ever use B-1 to make transplanting
and rooting faster and general survivability better?

I guess with naners you dont need a
Red Bull & Viagra
like you would with palm culture.

Got tired of driving Yugo and wana try these
Lambhorginis of plants.

But again, anyone ever tried giving them extra
nutrients/supplements for survivability
during the winter months?

Just a thought from a newbie.

A good fertilizer is crucial for growing bananas successfully. A "happy and healthy" plant will simply be less disease-susceptible. At the end of growing season( here in SoCal usually end of November until beginning of February) I will stop fertilizing. Before the cold hits at the end of summer, early fall I do like to give my plants a little extra potassium.

CB
Thank you!
Just receive my 4TC varieties.
I planted them in 3G pots with Miracle Grow soil
and bark mulch to keep the soil light and airy for
the roots to grow and expand.
My first 4 fakeys but hopefully not from FHN...

Mona Lisa/Ice Blue Java Cream/ Manzano/Dwf Brazilian.

From order to delivery took only 3 business days to SoCAL.
I sure hope theyre going to be real
delicious as everyone on here brags about.

Happy Growing!
Ritchy

B-1 is a hoax that has repeatedly been disproved for decades. Marketers still put it on their labels because some of the general public still believes it does something. The reality is that the product has been stoked with one or more other hormones that actually work.

How about Superthrive?
Anyone else here admit to using this?

Some peeps go hydroponics and grow their own stuff do so
to avoid eating chemicals and hormones
with their fruits & vegetables.

Can we reasonably & organically grow decent bananas in SoCAL
by growing it naturally with just manure(steer/chicken...) & mulch
with minimal or without chemicals and hormones?

There was an article on LA Times dated June4 business section
where a peach farmer grew his (Matsumoto)peaches with less water
in response to the drought in California.
The peaches were smaller and not as plump as they would normally be
but the flavor was more robust and concentrated.
In fact the farmer admitted that MAYBE he was overfeeding the peaches
with water all this time and with less water,
the peaches were more flavorfull!

I sure hope unlike almonds bananas will not take
more than a gallon of water for 1 fruit to form.
Does it?
I sure hope Im not in the wrong hobby.

Cheers!

Superthrive has one numerous awards for most advertising per square inch on a product label. It is a hormone product primarily composed of alfalfa extract -- and hence triacontanol. It claims lots of other things, but noticed they are not listed in the Guaranteed Analysis.

The manufacturer of Superthrive and the owner of Grow More are good-ol' sparing partners (friendly) in the fertilizer industry. If you like Superthrive, then give "Jump Start" by Grow More a shot. I believe you'll find it is less expensive per dose and more effective per dose. But as a Grow More distributor I am a bit biased
