Not a banana, but I potted up a cutting of Plumeria. It broke off of my 6 ft. tree when I was transplanting it from a pot to the ground for the summer. Had to wait until the end was calloused first. Already has 2 leaves on it!

Just picked up a Musa Bordelon' Banana and a Musa Dwarf Cavindish from lowes they had broken leaves and pot was dry so I got them for 6.50 each maybe they will make it. Bordelon had three pups with it in a little 8" pot so I stuck them in a bigger pot to try to nurse them back to health. pictures in gallery. Banana Gallery - cowboyup4christ Album

Two new Dwarf Orinocos and I repotted the Truly Tiny on the grounds that I should probably have used a 6 inch pot to begin with.

Yesterday, I potted an impulsively-bought Zebrina root-bound from 1 gallon into probably a 3 or 5 gallon decorative pot. I really missed it, believe it or not, after losing it this past winter!

Today I traded with a neighbor and got a Hua Moa (Hawaiiano) pup that was three feet tall, and a unknown sweet banana plant(almost three feet) whose fruit gets to be larger than a foot long.

Rooting hormone was added during the potting process to speed up the process. The pots are only a temporary home. Good weather and growing to all!!

That was the idea. A couple more weeks and I will put them in the ground , within 6ft. of each other , and see what happens.

Cheryl,

I sent you a PM about the Kru & SDC. I don't know if you've read it since I haven't heard back from you. And although I'm not sure, I think that I also sent you an email, as well. If you have not read the PM nor the email, please let me know. I will re-send them. Also, you might check your Spam mail for my email: Neurhealth@aol.com. It might have gone there.

Thanks.

This evening I transplanted 74 former tissue cultures from 2-inch pots to 2 gallon pots. Tomorrow I have another 30 or so to finish.

Yesterday, I potted up my one and only banana for the third time in as many months. It is growing like a weed, and is getting hard to move around.
But it still hasn't developed any "high color"...
