Is trouble brewing
My zebrina's leaves are starting to turn yellow, with some brown spots. I keep it in a good size pot. The plant is about 30'' tall and I just separated the pup. What should I do.

If its the pup its just the shock process.. while its growing roots & establishing itself. :^)

Re: Is trouble brewing
Is it outside? Could be the cold. Shortly after Thanksgiving we had a frost and most of the leaves on my Zebrinas were fried. Since then they have (most of them anyway) put out new leaves and are starting to look good again. Could be reacting to having a pup removed. Wait and see if the new leaves coming on are affected.

Not cold.Temps been in the 80's,not the pup either. I have the pup in a pot outside my pool enclosure. The tree is sitting inside my pool enclosure,Could it be magnesium shortage

Re: Is trouble brewing
Well if the mother plant is only 30" tall I never would have cut the pup.. you probably cut some roots or disturbed what it had established. I wouldn't over react just give it some time as well. :^)

Re: Is trouble brewing
I put some magnesium on them. I read in one of my books that yellowing of leaves is caused by a lack of magnesium. Will see what happens.
