Default Supplemental Indoor Grow Lights Advice?!

Hello All!

I live up North, so growing a blue java plant outside isn't an option unfortunately.

However, I'm going to be commandeering about half of our vaulted 18 foot ceiling room with two huge Northern facing skylights to give it some room when it gets big enough.

I was planning on supplementing the natural light from the skylights, which aren't great given they're North facing, with a few (or one big) grow light. I currently have a SPIDER FARMER 2x2 ft LED that i'm using in conjunction with natural light. I was considering an additional 2x4 ft LED grow light just to give it a bit extra in the hope that I get some fruit. (going to use 65 gallon smart pot when time is right.)

Has anyone done something like this before? Any recommendations for Grow lights?

Indoor growing...that time of the year again.

I can tell you that a small plant is easier to manage than a plant with a large footprint

There are some good older forum threads to look at that will have some good takeaways.
I have found tha that some of the best lighting products and similiar advice is found on the cannibis forums.
Both plants have very similar indoor/outdoor growing conditions.

I use CFL,LED,4 ft daylight tubes to keep some of my plants indoors.

Youtube has some good growlight takeaways also.

You want spotlights as opposed to floodlights because spotlights can be positioned away from the plants where they won't cast shadows from the natural light on your plants. I have been looking at bar shaped spotlights that are made for motor vehicles to use in my greenhouse because they are cheap.

For example, see:
