![]() I live in the southern costal area Texas, and we are suppose to have a rare snow flurry. I haven't planted my banana plants yet, since I got them in the fall and someone suggested I should wait until spring to plant them. I have them under a cheese cloth material to protect them from the frost. But with the flurries coming, should I bring them inside or will they be protected enough under the cloth?

![]() Hey, I'm in the Houston area and I'll be protecting a lot of my bananas this afternoon when I get off of work. If you can, I'd definitely put your bananas in a garage or bring them inside for the next few days until this cold weather passes. All Cavendish types are very cold sensitive, so I'd err on the safe side if I were you.
How far are you from Houston? |

![]() I'd definately put your banana's where they can't freeze or you'll be starting from scratch (corms).
