Re: Pros And Cons!
The cure for spider mites is Concern brand insecticidal soap spray. You spray it on and the next day ALL of the spider mites will be dead.

No I sprayed it on my fruit, and olives this last summer as a preventive measure. I swear I did see some of them on my grape vine.
How would sulfur powder work for the mites? |
Re: Pros And Cons!
I've used insecticidal soap on spider mites. The key is to get good coverage on the tops and bottoms of the leaves and not to use it in full sun or on a sunny day as to not burn the leaves.
I've also used 1 teaspoon of dish detergent mixed in 1 gallon of warm water along with tablespoon of vegetable or canola oil with good results. You can also use 1 teaspoon of suave shampoo with 1 tablespoon of vegetable or canola oil in one gallon of warm water.( I like to use coconut scented because it makes the greenhouse smell good.) Shake it pretty often to keep it emulsified while spraying it or fogging it. |
Re: Pros And Cons!
I like the bucket of water & couple of drops of dish soap & a very soft cloth.
Just wipe your leaves down... In your house its a little safer. Plus it gets the dust off of them. |
Re: Pros And Cons!
I used neem oil, it seems to work well, too. Try the dyna-gro brand.
