![]() I started mine in seed starter trays. Then, once they grew, I put them into a bigger pot. Just re-pot to a bigger size once you see the roots coming out of the seed starter trays. Its better to stay smaller so that you don't overwater once they get growing.

![]() I've never started Velutinas from seed, but mine have been in a 5 gallon pot since last June. Eventually I'll move it up once it gets big enough, but I doubt Velutinas need it very big. Like shown above, I'd estimate 15 gallons max. Velutinas from my research seem to grow according to root space though; - Some grow only 3 feet, others over 4 feet when not in pots.
