Thanks Shaggy LOL. IC still looks bad but I just cut all the brown off & it's starting a new leaf. It's just having a hard time taking off cuz of the dang cold temps. Sunny today but only 51*!! Maybe I should sing to it

51! Its like 95 during the day and 75 at night most of the time right now. We get the occasional "cool" spell going into the upper 80's and 60's at night. But then there are warm spells closer to 100.

I really like doing this stuff by hand. I had a heart rate monitor with Calorie meter on a few weekends back and burned about 1100C in less than 2 hours cutting grass and repotting the bananas. My Sunday numbers have been almost 5000C in a day and 4000 on Saturday.

This spring is just toooooo cold this year. It's why the plants & nanas aren't taking off. It's normally 70's this time - right now we are up to our high of 58*....whoopy.

OK Harvey, I'm going to Mike's later today but I'll tell you it doesn't look much different than the pics on last page. I think the Pstem is skinnier from the leaf stems dying off & I had to cut them. The pup has grown real well & it has a new pup that just grew about1 ft in the last week!

When planted, we leveled the board with rocks which makes it easier to slide forks under.

Almost to summer spot with all ONE of its leaves blowing in the wind - still unfurling!!

Going to keep the bamboo supports in pot since it's been so windy.

That was last May 5th & it never fully recovered all summer. It's better now & has 7 big leaves ...and...
A FLAG LEAF that opened on Tuesday!!! I have pics in my cam but have to go home to load in my puter to post here.

The leaf before it was smaller than the others - which I heard of. The stem is not as big as last year -from all the leaves dying back to soil. I'll be screaming when a flower peeks out LOL.

Congrats! What are your plans for trying to mature the fruit? Are you going to take it outside and possibly lose the leaves like what happened before, or are you going to keep it indoors under your watchful eye?
