Re: Musa Sikkmensis and Musa basjoo in Container
Hey Andrei, nice plants! Did you germinate the Musa sikkimensis from seed? Man, I hate them cos it's more than a year and the seeds still haven't said hello to me....

Hi Tog! Yes, I grew up Musa sikkimensis from seeds. At me too not from the first they have sprouted. Probably all depends on freshness of seeds. Our suppliers probably buy them in other shops, and then sell. I some times landed it have and still achieved result. This plant very much was pleasant to me, very beautiful wide leaves. And Musa basjoo grows at me from a puppy, I was sent by its friend from Japan.

Hi Caloosamusa! Dela horosho.
![]() Bananas well grow in containers, the truth it is necessary for them of a place for their big beautiful leaves much. These two kinds grow in the nature very big. But I nevertheless hope for their flowering indoors, I will do for this purpose all. Certainly try to grow up from seeds, they very quickly grow. The truth cultivation from seeds not always happens successful, all depends on their freshness. At me sometimes was that any does not grow from all seeds, and happens on the contrary that everything as will carry grow almost. But it is not necessary to despair, and to land them is better and to wait for the first shoots. Here on a site, many people grow up from seeds and very much even is successful. The best regards! Andrey.![]()
