Thanks and yes you do! There are a few grapefruits and some lemons that should be ready early next year. The greenhouse has been in the mid 60's F so not much to show. We want sun..LOL Currently a couple passion flowers that want to open out there.

yeah LOL I don't know how I'm going to get it back outside! And there are 3+ months before that takes place. This thing will be a monster and already it's far too big for the GH I only buy dwarf bananas now.

Re: Manzano timeline

Hi all, The new leaf is slightly smaller then the last and didn't reach the ceiling. Could lack of water have played a part? when it wasn't growing.

Re: Manzano timeline

Looks like a healthy new leaf to me. Only time I've seen shorter leafs is before a flower! You will know if it is a pre pre flag leaf with the next leaf. Keep us updated! Post a picture of the next leaf when it unrolls.

Re: Manzano timeline

I'm just glad it's growing again, I'm sure it still has a bit of time to go. Richard mentioned it could be from lack of over head light.. I'll wait and see if the next leaf is any better, fingers crossed! I'll keep you guys updated.

Here is the newest leaf open April 17. By the first week of May it will be going back outside! This is officially the largest I've got a banana plant to grow, pretty exciting... Thanks for looking :)

Re: Manzano timeline

Does anyone know where the Manzano banana originated from? its the only one of my varieties that I can't find its origin.

Thanks!
