Fabric pot size to fruit
Hello all, beginning my journey to grow bananas. My yard is only concrete so pots are my only option, but the way I plan for set up I can make large pots work. Some that I have will be a blue java, a tall namwa, tall Brazilian, and a couple dwarfs. I was planning 75 g fabrics for the full size and 50 for the dwarfs. Is this over kill? Can I go smaller? The plants will not move once put down, I'm in zone 10b so it doesnt really get cold enough to hurt. Also at what point should it be pretty safe to transplant to these sizes. Right now they are all in 1 gallons.

I think your good.... A few larger plant nurseries on the east coast of Florida had plants in large fabrics. Small swimming pool sized. Plants are on drip irrigation and are of good size. They are said to be the best to transplant and transport and have the best survival rate of other landscape material. |

Would you say the sizes are to big? I've seen some post for blue java in 65g and some dwarfs in 30g. I just want success with fruiting. Landscape wise I'm good either way.
