Thanks, I've gone for the ibc as they give a shallower profile for the literage.If its a hot day I can close the taps in the bottom so the water doesnt drain out of the mix. They can also be moved with a bobcat. Plus they cost me five usd each.

No squirrels where I am, there are the odd rats and im guessing im going to have to bait for them. Should have added, the hydro ones arent mine it was a setup I visited when looking for the smallest footprint of fruiting banana. Will probably setup a system like this when i cross my first seeds .

I should mention that the wooden portion of the traps were dipped in marine varnish to make them waterproof. Otherwise, they would only last about a week. It's a shame that the manufacturer doesn't varnish them for outdoor use. |
