Default Another New York Bloom!

Hey everybody!
I finally got around to re-potting and splitting my herd of bananas. It took four pots! They were all looking pretty rough due to winter neglect. I had to cut several back. So imagine my surprise when two weeks ago a bloom popped out of one. And on a plant with only two leaves no less! The bloom I got last year didn't set any fruit. I am hoping that this one will, but not holding my breath.

What happened with the blooming banana? I had a bloom on my pink velutina a few months ago, but it failed I think due to too few leaves....
