Default After a 2 year wait, dwarf orinoco started to flower!

I have been growing a dwarf orinoco for around 2 years in a 15 gallon container. It has finally started to flower. I only took two pictures (using my gf's camera), I am going to update with better pictures with my camera this weekend. The banana tree is a tattered looking, but it seems to be happy enough to flower .

I have not officially measured the P-stem... I would say that its around 6-6.5ft tall. I can give official measurements of it when I update this weekend.

Here is some more pictures.

The P-stem is also closer to 6ft rather then 6.5ft.

Here is a update picture of the plant. I see bananas now .

I am surprised the tree is holding up this well, despite its restricted root zone (15gal). I am very curious to see if the bananas produced are close to full size of an in ground Dwarf Orinoco.

Looking GOOD! I hope you get many fruits, keep us updated. 15gal pot seems small for a banana of that size.

Wow nice mine bloomed while it was in storage this winter when I went to put it back in the ground I saw the bloom and all the little naners on it broke my heart.
