Default When to cut flower

I have a plant that's flower is no longer producing bananas. It is about a foot below the last banana cluster. When and where do I cut the flower? Thanks all

It hasn't really been proven to plump fruit more to cut the bloom, but it certainly gets rid of extra weight so the plant doesn't fall over. You can cut it now or leave it. For instance, If you like watching the bees on on it. Just cut it if you are going to as far away from the bananas as possible.
