Default What stops a plant...

My Musa Basjoo plant that's currently inside has stopped putting out new leaves. I can see the tip of one but it's been there for a couple of weeks. First one I've really had a problem with. I'm just wondering where I need to start. I tried searching the forum from my mobile phone with no luck.

Would you post a picture of the plant. ... however, it being inside and potted; I suspect the pot has been over-watered and root rot has set in.

I hope not. I have another two more that I water the same time, but maybe I've got the drainage different somehow. Number of holes..
Etc. I'd prefer these be in the ground but failed miserably last fall digging mine up.

I suggest to repot to a bigger pot with new soil or put in the ground. The top leaf is showing cirrhosis while the center leafs appear healthy.

From the picture that appears to be a pup from the side of a main corm. What ever is effecting the main corm (likely rot) is now attaching the pup. So inspection, cleaning and removing the pup from the main corm is needed. ...Good luck.

Thank you. I'll try and get it in the ground.

Any change in growing conditions be it heat, light or soil.
These will make a plant adjust.

Plants will usually sort themselves out in 30+days
