Default Preditory mite vs spider mites

I have seen small red mite on my banana and I was wondering if there is a fast way to tell between the two? I have seen pictures of both and both can be red.

I am trying a new miticide and it will take a little while to fully work. In the meantime I am killing all the mites I see (small plant) just to be safe.
