Default New gros michel pups!

Hello, Banana-folks,

My gros michel has produced 3 pups! I have dubbed them, my petit michel. This is my first time a tree has given me pups, as I am super new in the banana world. I am wondering at what size (inches or centimeters accepted lol) would it be safe to remove them? Thanks.

I'd remove them when they're about the hieght of your knee.

BTW, bananas are not trees. They are plants that grow from bulbs. 🙂

Thanks for the knee-length advice and the not-tree distinction. I did read they are not classified as trees, but I can't rid myself of the colloquial romanticism of the term.
