Default New Banana owner need disease ID

Hi all! I just got a Musa Basjoo this year from Monrovia. It looks to have a disease. Any Idea on what this is? This is being grown in Tennessee. Not sure where the plant was grown when I bought it. Red splotches are mainly on undersides of leaves. Some black spots and black edges as well. New leaves are equally infected.

I haven't seen this before, ... but this appears to be an insect infestation to me. In the 2nd picture there appears to be a couple of insect tunnels in the leaves and may be an insect scab on the mid rib of the 3rd photo.

Look closer for other signs and any type of insect. Pull back outer dead leave sheaf to check for insects hiding on the pstem.

To me it doesn't look like a disease or pest.

Is the growth we are seeing in the photos new since you got the plant, or did those leaves come with the plant? What is the lowest temperature the plant has experienced since you've been growing it?

Thanks all. I'll wait a few weeks and see what all the new leaves do. It's a pretty new plant. No low temperatures at all.
