Hi friends
I have a problem with my banana plant
Issue: The new top leaves are fully opened but not out all the way I mean the stem of the leaf not fully out the last 3 leaves had this problem and this issue started after very hot august around 110F
and the leaf in the pictures has a new leaf growing inside it Although the stem of the first leaf not fully out
also I noticed that the stem of the leaf is much thinner than the old ones
I'm very worried help please

Maybe I am missing something but I don’t really see anything overly unusual there. Plant looks healthy to me. Do you have pics of the plant when it was behaving ‘normally’ for comparison?

Maybe someone with better eyes than mine can spot it. I still don't really see any major problem. I think I understand what you are saying, and in my experience it's not unusual for a new cigar to follow close on the heals of the previous leaf. I mean, maybe there is the beginning of a choke or something, but again, at least at this point from my perspective the plant looks fine.

Unless someone with more experience chimes in, I would say just see what it does over the next couple of weeks and Keep us posted.

Good luck!!

p.s. Per Dalmationsoap's comment are you certain of the variety?
.

Hot weather and inconsistent moisture will cause some issues with plants.

Water and cooler weather will help the plant stabilize if that is the underlying issue.
