Default Leaf moisture

We left the windows open last night and it got down around 64 degrees. I went and looked at my banana and it had water drops coming out of the new leaf and the cigar (I think that is what you call it). It appears to be coming out of the leaf tip. I was just wondering why do bananas do this? I just like to know, that is the way I am. So if any of you banana scientists out there can explain this one to me it would be great.

I don't think this is a real health issue but I though this would be the best place to post this question.

Very cool, thanks Sunfish. I guess it was just cool enough for it to happen.

Yeah I have been careful of that. The soil holds water fairly well, I actually haven't watered it in about a week and a half.

Thx for asking that one Doc.
I thought it had something to do with humidity.
I'll keep an eye out for the drops.
Normally every morning I see these drops and have always joked with my wife..I say they're winking at me. Flashy little drops on the leaves look so clean and happy.
All happy plants
