Leaf edges turing yellow
I've done a search and cant find a answer for my ill nana. She is in a pot inside and has had new growth since I brought her in 6 weeks ago. She has lost 2 older leaves to them turning all yellow, but since I cut them off the new growth is starting to turn yellow on the edges. I did check for any critters and cant find any. I have cut way back on watering, Is that the problem? Thank You, I'd hate to loose her now.

Re: Leaf edges turing yellow
It's just adjusting to life indoors. It happens often when they are just brought in. They will lose a few leaves and some of the edges will yellow. Are the new leaves ok? The ones that's grown since it was brought in?

Re: Leaf edges turing yellow
Hello Christine
Las Hojas Viejas Estan Bien Porque Ellas Se Tornan Amarillas Claro, Pero Con Las Hojas Nuevas Puede Estar Sucediendo Lo Siguiente: - Por Lo General Las Hojas Nuevas Son Amarillas Cuando Se Desenvuelven Porque Todavía No Estan En Proceso De Fotosíntesis Y Más Si Estan Dentro De La Casa Y No Expuestas Al Sol. - Si Existen Rayas Perpendiculares A La Nervadura Central Es Deficiencia De Azufre. - El Otro Problema Podría Ser Exceso O Deficiencia De Riego. - Ahora Debemos De Ver Si La Hoja Esta Amarilla Pero Las Nervaduras De La Mismas Estan Verdes. Lo Mejor Sería Que Acompañaras Con Una Foto. |

Re: Leaf edges turing yellow
¿Es que "de tanto en tanto" necesita estar después de una coma o al principio de una frase?

Re: Leaf edges turing yellow
¿Podría ser ácaros

Re: Leaf edges turing yellow
Hola Sunfish
No creo que sean acaros por que por lo general estos se presentan en las hojas viejas. Ahora si fuesen acaros se presentan unas manchas de color ocre (bronceado) en la parte superior de la hoja, pero lo dudo. |

They just said it was either being under watered or over watered and that it probably was getting used to the light it being indoors.

Old leaves are fine because They turn yellow clear, but with the new leaves may be happening Following: - Usually new leaves are yellow when they operate are not yet Because photosynthesis and More If you are within the House and not exposed to the sun - If there are streaks perpendicular to the midrib is deficiency of sulfur. - The Another problem may be excess or deficiency of Irrigation. - Now we must see if the blade is yellow but the veins of it are Greens. It would be best accompanied by a photo. |

Hate to be a pain, but are you going to try to grow banana plants again?
