Excellent info explained in a very easy to understand form. This is exactly what we talk about in our Hydro groups. It's the very essence of healthy root systems. Also, it's important to know that when regular medium that is fertilized dries out, it can also concentrate on the roots and burn them, which of course ends in rot as well.

Thanks for the contribution. It's so important everyone understands why there is a HUGE purpose for perlite, lava rock, and other medium. It's more important than making it look pretty.
