Default Fibre on roots? Fungus?

Hey everyone,

I lifted my dwarf banana tree out of the pot and noticed something that looks like strands and don't know if I should worry or it's normal, here it is, is it mycorrhiza? any suggestions? Thank you

Looks normal for the anatomy of healthy growing roots. Soon they could transition to a larger root.

If you used a soilless mix with mych as an ingredient the roots will look just like that.....and that is a good thing.

Do an internet search keyword "root hair" you'll find out some amazing stuff happens in the soil.

Also if you go to a big box store soon go to the garden center and pop out a plant from a cell pack and look at the roots, you will find they look the same as yours
