A couple of banana trees is growing crooked!

Hello! I have a couple of banana trees I’m concerned about. One is a basjoo and the other one is dwarf Brazilian. Instead of growing up nice and straight like it’s suppose to they’re a bit crooked. I don’t know why that happened. Are they going to be okay like that? What could be done? Thanks! :2738:

it is common for a plant to bend away from a structure to gain more light exposure.
A few on mine do it even when grown in a pot.
Next planting cycle you can move them away from the structure a few feet and see it that helps.
They bend pretty quick when the container tips over too so do not let a plant lay on its side too long.

When you pot them up soon for the winter just straighten them up in a container and they will sort themselves out in no time.

Thanks! I am so glad to know that! It is a relief! You’re right that does make sense! :woohoonaner:
