Unhappy Concerned about Bananas health

we got a new Banana tree it looked healthy and green with 3 leaves, we got it home forgot to water it for a few days so the leaves got really dry on the tips, we got back on track, the new leaves starting growing nice and healthy but recently I have noticed they are very limp to touch and are starting to curl inwards they are also a a shiny brown/grey/black colour. Im confused to what this is can you help me? I recently moved it from a quite shaded spot to a warmer spot (full sun morning till Noon).

( I tried to add photos but had trouble )

Shouldn't have anything to do with the sun or shade.Check to make sure the soil is not saturated

When planting a pup with leaves, especially at this time of year, standard practice is to cut off all leaves except the cigar. As new roots grow out it will grow normally. Keep it watered of course.

And never plant a new naner in the shade. If it's a TC then grow it out in a pot first in a good soil mix. lol

Could possibly have gotten sunburnt when it got moved from shady to full sun. When leaves aren't used to that much light, they can get burnt. Not to worry though, new leaves will come that are accustomed to it and they will be fine. Then again, that may not be the issue at all...difficult to tell without a picture.

As far as watering goes, with this being summer, make sure it gets watered enough (if in the ground, water maybe ever 2-3 days, but in a pot, you may have to water up to twice a day. Just feel the soil and if it's dry an inch or two below the ground level, you should probably water. Bananas don't like to be constantly wet, especially when being transplanted/shocked for whatever reason, so don't keep it constantly soaked or it will likely rot the corm. Let it dry out a bit between waterings and use a well-drained soil.
