It is hard to tell the difference between slight cold damage, and Cigar end rot in this case. Keep the developing fruit dry. Sometimes a plastic cover creates more problems with condensation than it helps.

Cold and wet does seem to promote the rot when the pathogen is present. :2239:

I think rot is caused by a mold called FUSARIUM oxysporium or somthing

why my name ? Becuse I AM A FUNGI And PLANT GUY THATS WHY!

Fusarium is a fungus in the soil, not on the fruit. Its hard to tell if the fruit is being affected by a pathogen or by something else. Not much you can do at this point but let it be and see how it turns out.

I had a lot of trouble with cigar end rot on Dwarf Cavendish back at my old place. I would spend time "deflowering" each fruit because it was supposed to help prevent cigar end rot. Cold will also cause similar blemishes.
