Not in an obvious way that I've noticed, but it is possible. You'd need to do a replicated experiment to get a clearer idea, and perhaps there are some published studies like that. All I know is that plants with these symptoms do fruit successfully.

This can be a good or a bad sign in my opinion. It can be a true deficiency. For sure!

It can also be caused by rapid growth. If you have just watered/it has just rained/just fertilized. Then you have no problem. If you walk on my farm during the growing season, you will see almost every leaf look like this. I push my plants to the limit with fertilizer. From my research faster vegative growth = sooner flower!

Pushing fast growth + pruning most bunches = works for me.

thank you tytalor for that observation. I have read many threads on calcium and boron deficiency and have never read this. coarse i haven't read them all. something people really need to know. I would guess most people barely understand all technical and would really like to see the clear results.

gotta thank you for this is the bottom line frankness.

here you go bushwak. this is a good one..

they do not mention lime here but they do talk of ph. lime has generally 24 percent calcium and is considered one of the fixes for calcium deficiency.
