![]() I'm looking for the best tool to help with splitting pups from the mother corm. I've used a shovel before but I'm looking for something smaller. One video on the internet showed a guy using a bar and a flat surface on the end. He called it an uhoh bar but I cannot seem to find something like that in the home depot/lowes stores -- even online.
I want to use this tool to help split the pups without damaging nearby pups. What do you guys use? Where can I buy it? Link? Thanks! ![]() Here's the guy using the tool I was talking about: How To Plant A Banana Plant - YouTube |

![]() A shovel and a small sledge can make a precise cut.
Try using a smaller shovel, if your's is too large. I have a digging bar, but don't use it to remove pups.

![]() We use a shovel and a water hose. Dig a little and wash a little until we find the part we want. Haven't been doing this long but haven't lost any. Good luck and good growing.

![]() Search results for: 'digging bar'
I use the "Harbor freight" posthole digging bar with tamper. We have several stores around here. And here is a 20% off coupon you can use in their stores or online: 20% Off Coupon |

![]() Why not just go to a welder's shop and have him make that which you wish?
It's really easier than ordering one that you cannot find. |

![]() Thanks everyone! I ended up getting the one Duckfood linked to at Home Depot! Awesome tool! And yes, it could use a foot peg!
The harbor freight one is also a good link too! Thanks for that! ![]() |
